Awana Clubs
What is Awana?
Awana Clubs next season at 22nd St. Baptist Church will be held from Wednesday, September 7th through Monday, May 16th 2012 from 6:15 - 8:00 pm for boys and girls ages 2-5th grade and will be committed to reaching children with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Awana programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
The heartbeat of Awana is reaching children around the world with the good news that Jesus Christ loves them and saves them from their sin. Each week, boys and girls will arrive in their club uniform, play especially designed Awana games, memorize Bible verses from their handbooks, receive points and awards, and listen to Bible messages presented by their leaders. In each club, children will have fun while being taught the Word of God!
