The vision for our church is to point people to Jesus. We go about this by loving God and loving others. Accomplishing this vision will take believers who intentionally take time to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what He did. We know not everyone is there, but we want to guide and equip people to fully surrender to Jesus with their whole lives.
The scriptural context for growing disciples is through relationships. Discipleship happens best in iron sharpens iron relationships where honesty, openness, transparency and trust can be developed. And Scripture is clear that it’s everyone’s responsibility in the Body of Christ to help people move from their present spiritual condition to full devotion to Christ. This is where Discipleship Groups come in to play.
Discipleship Groups are groups of three to four people of the same gender that meet regularly in order to encourage, equip, and challenge one another in love to grow toward maturity in Christ. To help us accomplish this, we utilize a study plan called MasterLife, which is a developmental, small-groups discipleship process that helps believers develop a lifelong, obedient relationship with Christ.
