The Contineo Student Ministry exists to encourage students to pursue the Lord with all their hearts, connect with each other in Christ-centered community, and reach the world for Jesus Christ. Our name is a Latin word meaning "to hold together or connect," and it points to the fact that, though our students differ in many respects, we are united in Jesus Christ, through whom all things "hold together" (Colossians 1:17). We provide a safe and caring environment in which students are encouraged to do this. Our threefold purpose operates as our mission statement. Our mission statement serves the mission statement of our church community as a whole: to point people to Jesus. Our claim is that by pursuing growth in these three areas, our students will more effectively point people to Jesus.
Our prayer is that students who come through this ministry may be encouraged in each of these areas:
Connect Groups exist to connect its members to God, each other, and the lost. On Sunday mornings, we meet to study a passage of the Bible and discuss how it applies to our lives. We meet in the basement of our Worship Center from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM.
Along with our weekly youth meeting on Sunday, we meet with high school boys & girls in separate discipleship groups on the first Saturday of every month. These meetups take place outside the church at a local coffee shop and give us the opportunity to discuss topics relevant to the students' stage of life as they are finishing their childhood and thinking about next steps into adulthood. Our goal is to equip our high school students to enter into this next stage of life with spiritual maturity and wisdom to navigate it well!

Zona is a week-long summer camp experience where lost students accept Christ, followers of Jesus are discipled in their faith, and everyone is challenged to change the world. It’s a high-quality evangelistic, discipleship, and missions focused camp for teens! Zona Camp 2026 will be at California Baptist University in Riverside, California on June 29-July 3.
